Digital watermarking technology is a new and effective digital encryption technology to fight against those serious illegal digital media transmission behaviors. This technology can make up for the shortcomings of traditional encryption methods and make it become a hot technology in the field of multimedia information copyright protection. This paper proposes a time-frequency digital watermarking algorithm based on fractional Fourier transform. The watermark signal is a one-dimensional linear frequency modulation signal (chirp signal). Watermarks are embedded and detected in time and frequency domain. As long as the order of the transformation is correct, chirp signal presents pulse characteristics in the FRFT domain, so it is necessary to observe whether there is impulse feature without the original image during detection, thus avoiding the process of setting threshold. The simulation results show that the digital watermarking based on this technology has good transparency and can be effectively detected, and is robust to some common image attacks.
