China's first network information security industrial park settled in Chengdu with an investment of 13 billion yuan

Based on the importance of network information security and the prospect of industry development, the groundbreaking ceremony of China Electronics Technology (Chengdu) Network Information Security Industrial Park was held in Shuangliu, Chengdu yesterday (April 13).
According to Li Chenggang, chairman of China Electronics Technology Network Information Security Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Network Security), the network security industrial park is not only the first in Sichuan, but also the first in China.
"The industrial park landed in Chengdu, not only because the member units of the network security industrial park are in Chengdu," Li Chenggang said in an interview with the reporter of the Daily Economic News, but because Chengdu has talent and technology deposits, and the local government has also provided relevant policy support.

According to Li Chenggang, the project covers more than 1100 mu, with a total investment of 13 billion yuan, and is planned to be completed in 2018.
The reporter of the Daily Economic News learned that the industrial park includes three industrial sub-parks: network information security, time-frequency communication and electromagnetic space security. The industrial park is invested and constructed by China Netsecurity, Chengdu Tian'ao Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tian'ao Company) and Chengdu Siwei Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Siwei Electronics), which are affiliated to CETC.
Among them, the Network Information Security Industrial Park will develop information security, security information system, security operation and other businesses based on the accumulation of China Network Security in the fields of password, information security and physical security.
The time-frequency communication and navigation industrial sub-park mainly relies on the advantageous resources of the 10 Tian'ao companies of China Electronics Technology Corporation, and is engaged in the business fields of time frequency, communication and navigation, satellite applications, and other business fields, and creates a time service platform, a navigation and location service platform, a communication service platform, and a Beidou satellite application operation service center.
Relying on the electromagnetic information technology of 29 Siwei Electronics, the electromagnetic space security industrial park provides core products and system solutions such as radio control, marine monitoring, urban awareness, anti-terrorism and stability maintenance in the security and smart core industries.
Hu Aimin, deputy general manager of CETC, said that CETC (Chengdu) Network Information Security Industrial Park plans to build into a 100-billion-level industrial scale. At present, it plans to achieve an output value of 10 billion yuan by 2018 and 15 billion yuan by 2020.
Value Chengdu's policy, talent and other advantages
It is reported that the industrial park project has been listed as a key project in Sichuan Province.
Li Chenggang said that the industrial park landed in Chengdu not only because the member units of the network security industrial park were in Chengdu, but also because Chengdu has the advantages of talent and technology precipitation, as well as the policy support provided by the local government.
"First of all, China Netsecurity, with 30 institutions and WeChat as its core, is the largest network information security enterprise in China. Second, Sichuan is the gathering place of information security industry in China, second only to Beijing and Shenzhen. It has the basic conditions outside universities such as the University of Electronic Science and Technology, and is also a big consumer province." Li Chenggang said that network information security is the focus of Sichuan's own strategic planning, and the policy also attaches great importance to this field, The industrial park strives to build a domestic and world-class network information security industrial base in Sichuan.
It is understood that the Sichuan Provincial Government also regards network information security as the top of five emerging industries. "At present, Sichuan is the only one that regards network information security as the first strategic emerging industry," said Li Chenggang. The main leaders of Chengdu Municipal Government also said that the information security industry is one of the five high-end growth industries that Sichuan Province focuses on.
Hu Aimin said that the industrial park, which integrates network information security software and hardware integration services, is an open platform, and its development is not closed, including domestic and foreign related enterprises who are willing to settle in, and can also cooperate in diversified ways such as equity investment, joint venture and so on, which can form industrial clusters and industrial chains.
