The situation of high danger in information security is expected to be reversed in the 13th Five-Year Plan and three major breakthrough points will be formed

On May 5, the symposium on the survival and development of national information security products (independent) led by the Xinhua News Agency "Economic Information Daily" was held in Beijing. At the meeting, experts and leaders from the Central Network Information Office, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and other authoritative departments, as well as the heads of domestic mainstream information technology enterprises, conducted in-depth discussions on the current situation and future development trend of China's information security.
Most participants said that the current situation of China's information security is not optimistic due to many reasons, which not only has huge hidden dangers, but also may cause major impact on the national economy. However, with the increasing attention of the whole society and the efforts of scientific research institutions and relevant enterprises, China's information security situation is changing in a positive direction. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, with the gradual breakthroughs in the three major topics of core technology, localization and trusted computing, China's high-risk situation of information security is expected to change.
Ni Guangnan, an academician of the CAE Member, believes that the key to solving the problem of information security is to achieve breakthroughs in core technologies. Once the key core technologies in the field of software and hardware are acquired, China's ability to independently develop and produce information technology products will be improved, and the initiative to prevent and control information security will be grasped.
Yu Cike, director of the Office of the Inter-ministerial Joint Conference on Promoting the Use of Genuine Software, believes that the popularization of localized products will break foreign monopolies and help China's enterprises and information technology industry build their own technology and product system, which will become an important basis for China's information security firewall.
Shen Changxiang, an academician of the CAE Member, pointed out that from the current world information security situation, to achieve breakthroughs in core technologies and promote localization, we should follow the overall policy of "independent and credible" and "safe and controllable". In the specific implementation process, we should not simply repeat the old ways of foreign countries, but should take trusted computing as the development direction to provide "immune" security protection for our information equipment and systems. He said that at present, China has developed and produced corresponding software and hardware, which will be further developed and applied during the "13th Five-Year Plan".
At the meeting, experts and leaders from the Central Network Information Office, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Finance and other authoritative departments, as well as the heads of more than 20 domestic mainstream information technology enterprises, such as SAP, Longxin, Tongfang, Jinshan, Bentu, Inspur and Lichen (21.340, 0.36, 1.72%), said that core technology, localization and trusted computing are becoming the three major breakthroughs in solving information security problems in China.
