The national standard (draft for review) of "Printing Digital Watermark Technology" passed the review

On August 11, 2017, the National Anti-counterfeit Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the National Anti-counterfeit Standardization Committee) held an expert review meeting on the national standard (draft for review) of the Printing Digital Watermark Technology in Beijing. Experts from China Anti-counterfeit Industry Association, the Anti-counterfeit Technical Product Review Department of the General Licensing Office, the National Anti-counterfeit Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Anti-counterfeit Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Public Security, Chengdu Yufei Information Engineering Co., Ltd. (the leader of the standard drafting unit) and other units and representatives of the standard drafting group attended the meeting.
Yin Rongwu, Secretary-General of the National Anti-counterfeiting and Standardization Commission, presided over the meeting. The meeting reviewed and approved the standard (draft for review), and believed that the standard comprehensively, scientifically and accurately reflected and summarized the anti-counterfeiting technology and experience of "digital watermarking" and "computer-multimedia digital information", filling the standard gap of printing digital watermarking technology in the field of computer-multimedia digital information anti-counterfeiting technology. Its technical level has reached the international advanced and domestic leading level, with strong guidance and operability.
Printing digital watermarking technology is a new computer-multimedia digital information comprehensive anti-counterfeiting technology. The embedding, detection and extraction of printing digital watermark, with its uniqueness, invisibility, progressiveness and technical compatibility, will prevent counterfeiting and tampering (copy modification, scanning PS) of the involved printing products, the safety and detectability of the products, as well as the anti-counterfeiting and counterfeiting of drugs, food, tobacco, alcohol, clothing, electronic devices, building materials, chemical products, patents and high-end famous brand products, and identify the authenticity of the products, Provide technical protection means and support to protect the legitimate rights and interests of famous and high-quality products and consumers. It will lay a good technical foundation for the large-scale application of digital watermarking technology in the printing and publishing industry, as well as in the field of e-government and e-commerce. Its prospects are very broad.
